The Envirnmental Depot is open for All Maine resident household hazardous waste disposal. There is a $27 per "unit" fee. The Depot can accept cash or checks. Checks must be payable to "AVCOG". A unit consists of 5 gallons of liquid, 20 pounds of solid waste, or a combination of liquid and solid waste.
Towns: If you would like to arrange a program with us for your residents, please call or email. We can custom tailor an HHW program for you, whether a satellite collection in your town/region, or an account for your residents to bring materials in to the Depot.
